Lenee Speaks Out: “I Truly Love That Man”

Responding to fans’ comments, Lenee passionately defended her actions during Hunter’s big moment. “This is making me so mad because anyone who knows me knows I support Travis in every win, everything he does, because I truly, truly love that man,” she shared in an emotional video.

Explaining her reaction at the ceremony, she said, “When his name was called, I instantly was going to... If you watch the video, you can see me like [gestures as if about to stand]. But his mom didn’t get up. So I thought, ‘Maybe I don’t get up. Maybe I just sit here with her.’”

Lenee clarified that the idea Coach Prime prompted her to stand was untrue. “Coach Prime said, ‘Go get him. Go get your man,’ but he didn’t have to say that because I was going to anyways. As soon as I saw Travis get up, I stood to congratulate him. But when I saw the camera was pointed at Coach Prime, I thought, ‘I don’t want to be in that shot while I’m crying,’ so I sat back down.”

Despite her candid explanation, the backlash only intensified. Videos from Lenee’s past surfaced on social media, fueling further speculation about her relationship with Hunter. The mounting pressure appears to have been the final straw for the couple.

Both Hunter and Lenee have since taken drastic steps to shield themselves from public scrutiny. Hunter deactivated his Instagram account, while Lenee followed suit by deleting both her Instagram and TikTok accounts entirely.
