Former rugby player Tom Jarratt responded to a leaked video that went viral this week showing him and an unnamed friend engaging in a sexual act together.

In his response, Jarratt made no effort to deny his involvement in the video, but set the record straight (literally). “That doesn’t mean I’m bisexual or that I’m gay,” he says.

“He was a friend in need and I was a friend in fact…”

The video in question shows Jarratt touching the other man while surrounded by a group of men. He has since explained that they were all together on holiday where they shared a drink, allegedly consumed other substances and thought it would be fun.

The video has been posted and reposted on X several times.

Leaked videos often elicit a single reaction from a few characters at the centre; some admit what they can’t deny and deny what they can’t admit. Others will apologise for their involvement. Jarratt took the road less travelled and dismissed the whole thing as a meme.

“Look, if you don't feel comfortable looking at a penis in the face or having a penis in your hand, there's something wrong with you,” he explains on TikTok. “We had a few drinks and maybe some... other stuff... and we thought it would be funny. And I stand by the fact that it's funny.”

In the same TikTok, Jarratt says something very interesting: “It doesn't mean I'm bi, it doesn't mean I'm gay. Well, maybe I am, but you know what, if you are, then I am.” Well?”
