rappare skjuten norrköping flashback
The streets of central Norrköping were rocked by tragedy on Thursday evening when a 25-year-old man was gunned down in a parking garage. The victim, identified as rapper Gaboro, was a rising star with millions of Spotify streams—but his life had been intertwined with the city’s gang scene.
A Chilling Scene
Gunfire shattered the evening calm at around 8:15 PM. Witnesses reported hearing four to six loud bangs before the police arrived. Deputy Police Area Chief Johan Qvarfordt described the grim scene:
“When our personnel arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds. Tragically, the victim later succumbed to his injuries.”
Investigators are now zeroing in on a silver station wagon seen leaving the area, urging anyone with information to come forward.
The Victim: A Talented but Troubled Artist
Known for his infectious beats and raw lyrics, Gaboro was a beloved figure on Sweden’s rap scene, having graced platforms like P3 Din Gata. But his fame was shadowed by his alleged ties to local criminal networks.
Gaboro’s death marks another chapter in an ongoing gang feud that has plagued Norrköping. SVT crime reporter Diamant Salihu explained:
“This is part of a larger, violent conflict between rival areas. Police intelligence links Gaboro to two of these factions.”
The Viral Video: Social Media Outrage
Adding to the horror, a graphic video purportedly showing the murder has been spreading like wildfire on social media. The clip, allegedly filmed by the perpetrator, has sparked outrage, with many condemning its rapid circulation.
“It’s disgusting. I woke up to this video on Instagram—it’s everywhere,” said Salihu.
Police spokesperson Mats Pettersson acknowledged the video’s existence but remained cautious:
“We are aware of a circulating clip. Whether it’s connected to this incident is something we’re investigating.”
A City on Edge
By early Friday morning, the police had ramped up their presence in Norrköping, scouring the crime scene for evidence. While some items have been seized, no arrests have been made yet.
Qvarfordt hinted at the challenges ahead:
“There are clear signs of a shooting, but we need time to verify the evidence, including the authenticity of the video.”
A Tragic End
Gaboro’s death underscores the devastating toll of gang violence in Sweden. As fans mourn the loss of a young talent, the community is left grappling with the haunting reality of crime, social media, and the lives caught in between.
This is not just the story of a rapper lost too soon—it’s a sobering reminder of the deep-seated issues facing Norrköping today.
