Bonnie Bunyau Pecah rekod dunia raih emas kedua Paralimpik untuk Malaysia

Atlet Paralimpik Negara, Bonnie Bunyau Gustin menepati ramalan dengan meraih pingat emas kedua Malaysia di Sukan Paralimpik Paris menerusi acara powerlifting.

Menariknya Bonnie berjaya memecahkan rekod dunia bagi kategori 72 kilogram selepas melakukan angkatan 232kg pada “attempt” ketiga.

Ini merupakan pingat emas kedua Bonnie di pentas Paralimpik selepas memenanginya di Tokyo 2020.

Atlet kelahiran Sarawak ini baru berusia 25 tahun. Ini bermakna Bonnie masih boleh mencapai kejayaan di beberapa edisi Olimpik akan datang.
